The adventure began on Friday morning as guests gathered at London Heathrow Terminal 5 for their British Airways flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle. Excitement was already building as the group set off for a long weekend dedicated to one of the highlights of the European racing calendar.

Upon arrival in Paris, an executive coach transfer transported guests directly to Chantilly for a group lunch offering the perfect introduction to a fantastic weekend. The group was then transported to the stunning Château de Chantilly. Surrounded by immaculate gardens, historic architecture and centuries of equestrian heritage, guests immediately gained a sense of why Chantilly is regarded as one of the true homes of racing in Europe.
Later in the day, guests checked into the stylish Hotel du Parc, their home for the next three nights. Ideally situated in the heart of Chantilly, the hotel provided a comfortable base from which to explore the town’s unique racing atmosphere. As evening arrived, the group gathered for a superb three-course meal, enjoying excellent cuisine and wonderful company as anticipation grew for the racing action to come.
Saturday began with breakfast at the hotel before a transfer to the historic Auteuil Racecourse in Paris. Widely regarded as the home of French jumps racing, Auteuil provided the stage for an exciting afternoon featuring the 139th renewal of the prestigious Grade 2 Prix des Drags Chase.
Guests enjoyed racing throughout the afternoon alongside a leisurely lunch, taking in the unique character and atmosphere of one of France’s most celebrated racecourses. From thrilling finishes to the elegance of French racing tradition, the day offered a memorable contrast to the flat racing spectacle that awaited on Sunday.
Following the conclusion of racing, the group returned to Chantilly, where another delightful three-course meal at a local restaurant awaited. The evening provided the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day’s action while enjoying the warm hospitality and charm of this famous racing town.
Sunday brought the highlight of the weekend as guests made the short walk from the hotel to the iconic Chantilly Racecourse for the Group Prix du Jockey Club, the French Derby.
As one of the most prestigious races in European flat racing, the Prix du Jockey Club attracts elite horses, connections and racing enthusiasts from across the globe. The atmosphere around the racecourse was electric as racegoers gathered for a card packed with high-quality action and championship performers.

Guests enjoyed hospitality throughout the day in the superb Panoramic Restaurant, offering spectacular views across the racecourse. With lunch, refreshments and afternoon tea included, it provided the perfect setting from which to experience one of the most important race days in the French racing calendar.
From the excitement of the parade ring to the thunderous charge toward the finishing line, the Prix du Jockey Club delivered everything that makes top-class racing so compelling. The combination of world-class sport, exceptional hospitality and the unique setting of Chantilly created a truly unforgettable race day experience.
On Monday morning, after breakfast and check-out, guests enjoyed one final exclusive insight into life at the centre of French racing. A short coach journey took the group to the Chantilly training base of renowned trainer Tim Donworth.
The visit offered a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the preparation and care of elite racehorses, providing guests with a unique opportunity to see first hand the dedication, expertise and attention to detail required to compete at the highest level of the sport.
Guests also had the opportunity to visit and spend time with Amy Murphy over a light lunch, hearing first-hand about life as a trainer and the unique role Chantilly plays within international racing.
