Combining world-class racing with the charm, culture and excitement of the French capital, this promised to be a memorable getaway for racing enthusiasts.

Our Parisian adventure begins with a Eurostar journey from London to Paris, where the excitement builds as we travel across the Channel towards one of Europe’s most captivating cities. On arrival in Paris, a private transfer was waiting to take guests to the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, our comfortable base for the weekend. After settling in, there was an opportunity to meet fellow travellers over welcome drinks before enjoying the first evening at leisure.

Saturday offered the perfect chance to discover Paris at your own pace. Whether you fancy wandering along the Seine, exploring the city’s elegant boulevards, visiting a famous landmark or simply finding a charming café to watch the world go by, there was plenty to enjoy. For those keen to get into the racing spirit early, tickets for Longchamp were also arranged, offering an extra taste of the excitement ahead.

With Paris providing such a wonderful backdrop, Saturday was a free day at leisure. From its stylish shopping districts and historic streets to its lively cafés and unmistakable atmosphere, the city offered something for everyone. It is the ideal opportunity to soak up the Parisian lifestyle before the big day arrived.

Sunday is the highlight of the weekend, as we made our way to the legendary Longchamp Racecourse for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. One of the most prestigious races in international flat racing, the Arc attracts the finest horses, leading jockeys and passionate racing fans from around the world. The atmosphere was electric, with anticipation building throughout the day as the racing action unfolded.

Our Winning Line Race Day Tickets provided a covered viewing area and access to the parade ring, allowing us to get closer to the horses and enjoy the occasion in style. From the buzz of the crowds to the spectacle of the runners heading towards the track, the Arc is an experience that captured everything special about racing. Whether you are a lifelong racing enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy a truly memorable sporting occasion, Longchamp promises a day to savour.

After the final race, we returned to the hotel, leaving the evening free to relax, share stories from the day and perhaps enjoy one last taste of Paris. With so much excitement packed into the weekend, there was plenty to look back on over dinner or a leisurely evening in the city.

All too soon, it was time to say au revoir to Paris. After breakfast, we made our way back to Gare du Nord for the Eurostar journey home to London, bringing a wonderful few days of racing, sightseeing and French hospitality to a close.

With the prestige of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the unique atmosphere of Longchamp and the timeless appeal of Paris, this promised to be a superb racing escape. A chance to experience one of the sport’s great occasions while enjoying one of Europe’s most exciting cities, it was a weekend to look forward to and remember long after the final furlong.
