VELKÁ PARDUBICKÁ WEEKEND TOUR 2027
We’re heading back to Prague in October 2027 for another weekend at the Velká Pardubická. Join us for three nights in the Czech capital, with time to explore the city, welcome drinks on Friday, a meal together on Saturday evening and Sunday at Pardubice Racecourse.
You can fly from the UK or Ireland to Prague before transferring to your choice of hotel, the 4* Pulse8 Hotel or the 5* Kosher Hotel King David Prague. After checking in, you’ll have time to settle in and explore the city before we come together for welcome drinks to start the weekend.
Saturday is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Whether you fancy exploring the Old Town, walking across Charles Bridge or finding somewhere for lunch and a Czech beer, there’s plenty to fill your day. In the evening, we’ll come together for a meal at a local restaurant ahead of Sunday’s racing.
On Sunday, we’ll travel to Pardubice for the highlight of the weekend, the Velká Pardubická. It’s a race that many National Hunt fans have wanted to see for years, and being there gives you a real appreciation of the challenge facing the horses and riders.
Our group were there in 2026 to watch Final Orders win under Keith Donoghue for trainer Gavin Cromwell, getting the better of Godfrey in a thrilling finish. Following Stumptown’s victory in 2025, it was a second successive win for both trainer and jockey, and another memorable afternoon at Pardubice.
After racing, we’ll have the chance to walk the course and see the fences up close before returning to Prague.
Away from the racing, there’s plenty to enjoy in Prague, with its historic streets, riverside walks, cafés and restaurants. On Monday, we’ll enjoy some final time in the city before transferring to the airport for our flight home.

Friday 8th October
You can fly from the UK or Ireland to Prague, where you’ll be met for your transfer to your chosen hotel for a three night stay. After checking in, enjoy time to settle in and explore the city before we come together for welcome drinks. It’s a lovely way to start the weekend and get to know your fellow travellers. The remainder of the evening is at leisure.
DAY 2 - CLICK TO SEE MORE
Saturday 9th October
After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure to explore Prague. You may wish to wander through the Old Town, walk across Charles Bridge or visit Prague Castle for fantastic views over the city. There are plenty of cafés, shops and restaurants to discover along the way, with time to stop for lunch and a Czech beer. In the evening, we will come together for a meal at a local restaurant ahead of Sunday’s racing.
DAY 3 - CLICK TO SEE MORE
Sunday 10th October
Following breakfast, we will transfer to Pardubice Racecourse for the highlight of the weekend, Velka Pardubicka day. Enjoy an afternoon of racing and take in the atmosphere as the horses and riders tackle this famous cross country course. For those looking to make the day extra special, an optional hospitality upgrade is available at an additional cost. After racing, we’ll have the opportunity to walk the course and see the fences up close before returning to Prague. Evening at leisure.
DAY 4 - CLICK TO SEE MORE
Monday 11th October
After breakfast, we will check out of our hotels and enjoy some final time at leisure in Prague. Take another stroll through the city, pick up a few souvenirs or find somewhere for lunch before your transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK or Ireland.
