Following a fantastic trip in 2026, we’re heading back to Deauville in July 2027. This exclusive package for Kennet Valley members includes four nights at the 4* Novotel Deauville Plage, racing at Clairefontaine and Deauville, a visit to Haras de Beaumont and time to enjoy the beautiful Normandy coast. To give you an extra reason to join us, we’re holding this year’s package prices until 1 December 2026. Book before then for £1,145 per person sharing a twin or double room, or £1,545 for single occupancy, before our 2027 prices increase.
Friday takes us to Clairefontaine, where colourful gardens and a relaxed atmosphere make for a lovely afternoon at the races. On Sunday, we head to Deauville for Group 1 Prix Jean Prat day, featuring the seven furlong contest for three year olds. Admission to both racedays is included, with hospitality upgrades available for an additional £99 per person at Clairefontaine and £149 per person at Deauville.
Having visited Haras de Beaumont in 2026, we’ll return to the stud that is home to unbeaten Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Ace Impact. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the stallions and hear more about life at the stud. We’ll also watch morning trackwork at Deauville and meet a local trainer, giving you a look at the work that goes on away from raceday.
There’s time to enjoy Normandy at your own pace too, whether that’s lunch in Deauville, a walk along the beach or a visit to neighbouring Trouville and its harbour and fish market. Before heading home on Monday, we’ll visit a traditional cider and Calvados producer for tastings and a light lunch.
We’ll stay at the 4 Novotel Deauville Plage*, overlooking the beach and just a short walk from the town centre. Our included welcome meal at a local restaurant on Thursday evening gives everyone the chance to get to know the group before the weekend gets underway.
We travel on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Caen on Wednesday evening, arriving on Thursday morning. If you’d prefer to travel on Thursday by flight or train, please contact us to discuss alternative travel options.

On arrival in Caen, you’ll be met for your transfer to Deauville and the 4* Novotel Deauville Plage for your four night stay. Enjoy some time exploring the town before joining the group for an included welcome meal at a local restaurant this evening. Friday 9th July
After breakfast, visit Haras de Beaumont, home to unbeaten Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Ace Impact, before heading to Clairefontaine Racecourse for an afternoon of racing. Admission and return racecourse transfers are included, with a hospitality upgrade available for an additional £99 per person. Return to the hotel after racing for an evening at leisure.

Saturday 10th July
Watch morning track work at Deauville Racecourse and meet a local trainer before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure. Explore Deauville’s shops, beach and promenade, or head across to neighbouring Trouville for its harbour, fish market and restaurants.

Sunday 11th July
Today we will head back to Deauville Racecourse for Group 1 Prix Jean Prat day, featuring the seven furlong contest for three year olds. Racecourse admission is included, with a hospitality upgrade available for an additional £149 per person. Enjoy your final evening in Deauville after racing.

Monday 12th July
After breakfast, check out of the hotel before enjoying one final taste of Normandy with a visit to a traditional cider and Calvados producer. Take a tour to learn how these local specialities are made, from the apples grown in the region’s orchards to the finished products, before enjoying a tasting and a light lunch with the group. Afterwards, continue to Caen for your return ferry to Portsmouth, bringing our Deauville tour to a close.
